Abstract
This study derived the meaning and difference of experience by phenomenologically analyzing the experience reports of 11 graduate art therapy students who participated in integrated classes of psychodrama and art therapy that applied face-to-face and non-face at the same time due to rapid changes in educational environment due to COVID-19. Studies have shown that the meaning of participants' core emotions and experiences varies somewhat depending on the class environment, and four and eight subcomponents of the participation experience are derived. The four essential components were ¡°the ambivalence of excitement and disappointment of first-time non-face-to-face learning,¡± ¡°the regret and frustration of not experiencing reallife field,¡± ¡°the difficulty of communication between professors and students,¡± and ¡°the integration application of psychodrama and art therapy as an extension of new experience.¡± Meanwhile, the differences in psychodrama experiences between non-face-to-face and faceto- face participants include: First, recognizing the need to provide smooth equipment and sufficient space. And second, long-term non-face-to-face participation reduces immersion and concentration. Third, participants felt uncomfortable expressing themselves due to difficultly communicating immediately. Forth, non-face-to-face participants could have psychological leeway in the observer position. The results of this study will be provided as necessary data for the integrated application of psychodrama and art therapy, as well as for the various integrated applications of counseling and psychotherapy.
